Car park closures near Building 10
The left hand side of Car Park 6 (adjacent to lawn area in front of Building 10) will be closed as from Wednesday 19th January 2011 until the Library Refurbishment is completed.
The remainder of Car Park 6 will be closed from 1st February 2011 until February 2012, while work continues on Buildings 28 and 29.
The pedestrian path through the centre of the car park and the disability car park beside Building 29 will be maintained.

CQUniversity Rockhampton Library internal demolition commenced
Work on internal demolition of the CQUniversity Rockhampton Library (Bruce Hiskens Building – Building 10) has commenced with Woollam Constructions having been appointed as the building contractors.
The appointment was made after an tender process, which resulted in a high level of expressions of interest being submitted for the project. A full evaluation of the tender was undertaken by the Division of Facilities Management in consultation with Wilson Architects and Director of the Library.Woollams has extensive local experience with delivering commercial buildings under tight timeframes and is currently working on a number of projects for Central Queensland schools, hospitals and TAFE in Rockhampton.
